WHAT WE DID:We did our video on the Physics of dodgeball. For the past few weeks our group has been recording knowledge about dodgeball.
CONCEPTS:Force a push of pull Velocity the speed the ball has in a certain direction Force of Impact transferred force from the ball to the target Force of Throw force put into the ball while throwing it
Project Layout: Day 1: worked on storyboard Day 2: finished story board, began scrip Day 3: finished script Day 4: finished all filming on baseball field Day 5: edited the video Day 6: edited the video Day 7: edited the video
Our project had complications toward the end. We noticed that the video didn’t have sound at places we previously wanted sound. Luckily, we fixed our video by the film festival, and it was a real success! The film festival was lots of fun, everyone showing up in red carpet theme. We all enjoyed watching our classmates videos and our won. It was cool seeing everyone’s interest by the topic they choose for their videos.
REFLECTION: This project was a huge success (to me)! We had our ups and downs but it turned out awesome in the end and that is all that matters. Our group worked exceptionally well together and we all seemed to enjoy each other’s company. We were a very productive group, taking full advantage of our time in class. This group has taught me the most from all my previous ones. Two things I need to improve on is the effort I put into the group and putting away my phone. This group would always point out when I needed to be helpful and pitch in a lot more and I really think that helps. On the next project(s) I know I will be more engaged and willing because I realized it was disrespectful to them and not helping me learn. Two things I thought I did very well with this group was throwing out new ideas and doing the filming. I’m very good with phones so the filming was fun for me. Overall, this group was a fun one and I learned a lot about the physics of dodgeball.
